Outdoor retailers are part of the solution!

In January, more than 120 outdoor and recreation businesses signed a letter to President Obama, which moved the administration to begin a review of an illegal Columbia-Snake River salmon plan (a holdover from the Bush administration). We have until the end of their review period on August 14 to keep up that momentum!

Since that letter had such a positive impact with the administration that this time, we're taking it to the House (of Congress that is). A group of industry leaders have signed this letter asking Congress to back a real and science-based salmon solution this summer. We are closer than ever to saving these iconic fish and we need the strong support of the outdoor business community in this final push.

If you're at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, keep an eye out for a roaming wild salmon named Buster! This is a a free and easy way for businesses to be part of a landmark conservation movement to save our wild salmon! Email emily@wildsalmon.org to join the ranks of these fine folks today!
